Jesus Saves
| Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- John 14:6
Gods loves you and wants you to experience peace, fulfillment and eternal life starting now.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Most people do not have peace with God and the abundant fulfilling and eternal life that He intended. God gave us a will and the freedom to choose. The first man and woman, Adam and Eve chose to disobey God and became separated from God. Many still make that choice today.
Romans 3:23 All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave to reconcile us and bring us back to God. He was God’s sinless son who became a man, took our place and paid the penalty for our sins once and for all. This is the free gift of salvation.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6:23 ……, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Ephesians 2: 8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
We must trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and make a decision to receive him.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
John 3: 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Admit your need; acknowledge and confess your sins.
Acts 2: 36-38 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Galatians 5: 19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Ask for forgiveness and repent of your sins!
1 John 1 :9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Acts 3: 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross, came back to life from the grave, and is your only way to heaven and receive his offer to forgive your sins and come into your life as savior.
Romans 10: 9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
You can pray to Jesus in your own words like these:
Dear Jesus, Thank you for making it possible for me to find peace with God. I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross and rose from the grave on the third day to pay the penalty for my sins. I ask that you forgive me of my sins and I receive you now into my life as Lord and Savior. Thank you for the gift of eternal life.
If you would like someone to pray with you
