Prayer

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

As Christians we are commanded to pray without ceasing ;1 Thess. 5:17; Col. 4:2;
Jesus spent many hours in prayer and fellowship with the Father; Matt 14:23, Matt 26:29, Mark 1:35, Mark 6:46, Luke 6:12, John 17
Jesus taught us how to pray to the father; Mathew 6:5-15
The Apostles put prayer first in their life and they spent much time in prayer – Acts 6:4; Rom 1:9; Eph 1:16, Col. 1:9.
It is God’s plan that we should pray to receive all His promises for us – Matt. 7:7-11; Luke 11:9-13.
God hears and answers our prayer; Psalm 65:2, Isaiah 65:24
The Holy Spirit helps us to pray according to the will of God; Romans 8:26
